Bequests

Please remember AMIGOS’ impact on your life by including the Foundation in your will. By doing so, you will help to ensure that AMIGOS can continue to shape young leaders for many years to come. Your attorney can best advise you about ways to provide for your beneficiaries, and, at the same time, help support AMIGOS’ ongoing efforts.

If you have already included AMIGOS in your will, please let us thank you by filling our our Estate Intention Form. 

Your bequest can be small or large, restricted or unrestricted. A bequest can be made in a will, or by naming the Foundation for Amigos de las Américas as a beneficiary of a revocable trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy.

Some suggestions for naming Amigos de las Américas in your will are illustrated below:

•  Percentage: I hereby devise, give and bequeath _____% of my gross estate as finally determined for Federal tax purposes to the Foundation for Amigos de las Américas … 
•  Set Amount: I hereby devise, give and bequeath the sum of $_____to the Foundation for Amigos de las Américas … 
•  Residual: I hereby devise, give and bequeath (a percent or all of) the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to the Foundation for Amigos de las Américas…
