Summer Bevil Grants Awarded!

The Foundation Trustees received some great applications for Bevil Grants from AMIGOS communities during the summer 2011! 

Project Staff, Volunteers and host communities have collaborated to complete various projects including:

• Installation of a water pipeline to a host community
• Support of a Community gym and Kung Fu school
• Creation of a community band
• A 3-day microenterprise training workshop
• An intercommunity photography training and competition

Thanks to all the Volunteers, staff, and community members who made these exciting initiatives possible this summer!
